Transform 30 young women into entrepreneurs โ€” converting 2500 years of textile tradition into a business model.

Initial situation

"Kelaghayi sells for five-ten manats, its real value is fifty-hundred manats. The lack of business skills means heritage doesn't convert to income."

Participant selection and survey

30 women selected from over 200 applications (15 Az and 15 Uz). Economic survey among over 200 neighborhood women.

3-day intensive training โ€” Tashkent

12 modules: cultural branding, tourist sales, Instagram/Etsy, digital marketing, craft exchange.

Over 50 buyers and distributors. Sales protocols and long-term contracts.

Documenting cultural heritage through film

The project's main objective โ€” documenting Silk Road heritage through professional video for future generations.

Preserving heritage

Video documentation is the main objective โ€” 2500 years of textile traditions are passed to the future not only through live demonstration but also through film. Every artisan's story, every technique's details, every pattern's meaning is recorded.
